    Paul Revere's Ride
    Paul was a scout for the Battle of Lexington and Concord. he was investigating where the British were eventually, Dr. Joseph Warren gave him the orders to ride near the British. Then he traveled to warn the town of Medford that the British were enroute to the town. Paul was a key factor to the battle of Lexington and Concord.

    This was the start of the American Revolutionary War. The British marched from Boston to Concord to raid a weapons cache. In the mean time Paul revere and others sounded an alarm and the militiamen assembled to prevent the raid. eventually the British retreated due to intense fire.

    The Americans and there Colonel, Colonel William Prescott had received intelligence that the British, who were led by Major General William Howe and Brigadier General Robert Pigot were settled in Boston Charlestown.The Americans decided to attack them. As they were in combat the Americans realized there were to many British to fight so they had to retreat. The British won but, this event increased the Morality of the Americans. The British knew this war will last long.

    Crossing of the Delaware River

    Washington's army deployed in rafts across the water to ambush the Hessian mercenaries in Trenton. The Americans needed another victory and George Washington thought that was the way to get to it. they left at night to prevent getting spotted. one of the little boy soldiers wanted to go and fight the war but, Washington knew he would not survive. so he made him hold a lantern on land in case they needed to find there way back. When they got there, they attacked them to gain victory.

    In the morning, American troops crossed the Delaware river and split in two groups and pushed towards the city of Trenton. Washington kills the British commander, Johann Rall. During that fight only two American troops died. George Washington showed his leadership by planning and executing a successful plan. because of their success more people enlisted.

    Thomas Paine's writing of "The American Crisis"

    Thomas Paine was writing all the negative things that happened when soldiers were leaving to go home. it showed how Washington and the soldiers didn't forfeit even though many of the soldiers have left there battalion. He was trying to tell people that they cannot celebrate only when there are good times but, treasure and fight for what they have. War was testing the Soldiers Mentally and Thomas wanted them to acknowledge this.

    The American Soldiers suffered from many lost battles before going to Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.They were starving,sick and cold. Washington picked a location where the soldiers will be safe and still will be able to defend there territory. They had a hard time obtaining supplies. They used only what they needed to survive. Baron von Steuben and Marquis de Lafayette made a big impact with the soldiers. Baron taught them combat training and Marquis dealt with their hardships.

    British General Howe desired to capture the colonial capitol of Philadelphia, and George Washington got there first to defend the capitol and the Brandywine River. He did this so he could defend the travel path between Baltimore and Philadelphia but, General Howe received Intel and found an alternative. The American army had lost the capitol, they retreated. this battle helped out the British advance. Washington then learned how to plan better for battle but felt like he is losing.

    This was the turning point of the war for American soldiers. fighting England's soldiers was going to be hard but, they trusted Washington to fight in New York. The Americans had the advantage being in the woods because of guerrilla warfare. Over all the war ended by 5,000 English soldiers surrendering to the American Soldiers. after that the Americans and the French made an alliance and declared war on Great Britain and Spain.

    In Yorktown Virginia, George Washington joined forces with the French. At the time the British were commanded by Lord Cornwallis. The soldiers stationed at the York River. Washington had a plan to get to the British. They would have to dig trenches behind their defense line and attack there. it was a successful plan. The British surrendered. The Americans were successful and had finally won the war.

    The document that ended the American revolution, which it agreed peace between Great Britain and America. Negotiators that represented America were the following, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and John Jay helped state the document for America. it discussed the boundaries for both parties. Then Great Britain signed the document and finally the Treaty of Paris was born.
