The stamp act was imposed on all American colonist and the tax was on all printed paper documents in the colonies like license, news papers, legal documents and playing cards. The stamp act was asymmetrical because the British taxed the colonist and the colonist didn't tax them back.

    There was a mob throwing snowballs,stones, and sticks at British soldiers. There was several colonist killed. It was one of the events leading up to the American Revolution War.

    Samuel Adams and the Sons of Liberty boarded 3 ships in the Boston Harbor and threw all the tea overboard. They threw 342 chest overboard of tea into the sea. The Boston Tea Party was asymmetrical because the patriots threw the tea into the water and then ran.

    On June 17,1775,early in the Revolutionary War the British defeated the Americans at the Battle of Bunker Hill in Massachusetts. the British lost many men, they felt like they didn't even win the battle because they had so many casualties. the Battle of Bunker Hill was asymmetrical because the British marched towards the Americans when they were hiding be hide things. the Americans only had 5 balls to shoot so they waited till they seen the whites of their eyes.

Common Sense was the first work that openly asked for freedom from Great Britain. Many people in the colonies were for Common Sense and some were against Common Sense.

    It was published July 4, 1776. Thomas Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence. it was to show that America wanted to separate from Great Britain.
  • Battle of Trenton and Princeton

    On Christmas day 1776 George Washington and his men crossed the Delaware. Over the course of the next 10 days Washington won two separate Battles Trenton and Princeton. Both of these battles were won by the Americans. Both these battles were crucial battles in the American Revolution. these two battle won back New Jersey and greatly improved the moral and unity of the colonist army.

    They stayed there in the winter of 1777-1778. Valley forge was about 20 miles northwest of Philadelphia. from Valley forge Washington could keep an eye on the British. Many of Washington's men died of disease and hunger. Von Steuben trained the American soldiers hard.

    the battle was from September 19, 1777 through October 7, 1777. the battle was a fourteen day battle and it was the turning point in the American Revolution. September 19 British general John Burgoyne achieved a small but costly victory over Americans lead by Horatio Gates and Benedict Arnold. Burgoyne again attacked the Americans at Bemis Heights on October 7th, but this time was defeated the victory for Americans convinced french to join the war.

    It was one of the major battles towards the end of the war. it was the biggest loss of troops from the American army there were 92 killed, 148 wounded and 5266 captured out of 5466 men. the British won the battle. War in the south was asymmetrical because the British were staying in the south and the American army had to go to them.

    the battle of Yorktown was from September 28, 1781 through October 19, 1781. Goerge Washington lead 17,000 French and Continental troops and begin the siege known as the Battle of Yorktown against British General Lord Charles Cornwallis and leading 9,000 British troops at Yorktown, Virginia, in the most important battle of the Revolutionary War. General George Washington won a decisive victory against the British Army in the battle of Yorktown.
