The Boston Massacre happened when the British army fired into a crowd of people. That happened because one of the British troops was hit on the head and accidently fired a shot. Then the rest of the British troops shot into the crowd because they thought they heard their ranking officer tell them to fire. But he never did because he was in front of his own troops.

The battle of Yorktown was when George Washington sent a "fake" attack for Cornwallis to send troops to so he can distract Cornwallis. George Washington and the French then ambushed Cornwallis and took over Yorktown. George Washington and the French took Cornwallis hostage for a few months before Cornwallis surrendered.
