The British government had tried to increase the price of taxes and control the colonies. This was an asymmetrical event because the American colonist did not fight the same way as the British did because the Americana colonist didn't have weapons, unlike the British.

    On December 16, 1773, Samuel Adams and the Sons of Liberty had boarded three ships and had thrown 342 chests of tea overboard.The Boston Tea Party had been imposed by the British government and it was a direct protest by the Boston colonists against the Tea Tax.

The 13 Americans colonies and the British authorities had been building tensions for many years, particularly in Massachusetts. This battle is symmetrical because the Americas and the British both fought in the same way.

Battle of Bunkers Hill was the first major battle of the American Revolution and was fought in Charlestown. This was an asymmetrical battle because the Americans ran and hide from the British.

Thomas Jefferson had been the one to write the Declaration of Independence and had adopted the Second Continental Congress and having to state reasons for the British colonies of North American and making it independent.

    On Christmas Day 1776, General Washington and his army had crossed the icy Delaware. On the morning of December 26, 1776 the Battle of Trenton had been fought. Over the next 10 days and General George Washington won two crucial battles of the American Revolution. On January 3, 1777 the Battle of Princeton had been fought days after Trenton. General George Washington had won both fights. This is an asymmetrical battle because Washington fought on Christmas day, while the British didn't.

    The Battle was between the Americans and the British. The Battle of Saratoga or also often called the turning point of the war in favor of the Americans. There had been two locations of the war and it had been at Saratoga, New York and at Stillwater, New York.

    George Washington, commander of the Continental Army lead his troops to Valley Forge, Pennsylvania during the winter of 1777 to 1778. Valley Forge had been a military camp 18 miles away from Pennsylvanian. Many died from sickness and from eating poorly.

With the British and their victory and capturing more than 3,000 Patriots and only having 250 killed and wounded total during the process. The Battle of Charleston had been an asymmetrical because the Americans fled.

    The Battle of Yorktown took place in Yorktown, Virginia from September 28, 1781 through October 19, 1781. The battle was considered as the last major battle of the Revolutionary War. The battle had been between the Americans/French and the British. American General George Washington, commanded a force of 17,000 French and Continental troops against British General Lord Charles Cornwallis and a contingent of 9,000 British troops. This battle is symmetrical because they fought in the same way.
