One of the battles that took place during th Philadelphia Campaign was the Battle of Brandywine, which allowed the British to enter Philadelphia and take control, forcing the Continental Army to flee ot Vally Forge.

    After the Continental army got jousted from Philadelphia, they had to take refuge at Valley Forge for the winter, which was arond eighteen miles from the capital. At Valley Forge, there was shortages of everything, from clothing to food to medicine and the soldiers suffered from exposure to the elements with hardly any food and shelter.

    She was one of the first black slaves im Massachusetts to sue the state Supreme Court and win with a verdict that slavery was illegal.

    It was a battle between the British, and the Americans/French that was the ending of the Revolutionary War because after George Washingtion and his soldiers won the battle and General Lord Cornwallis, the British government began to negotiate an end to the long, seven year war.
