Huck Finn
This book follows Huck Finn as he takes a journey to freedom. He travels with a runaway slave named Jim. Jim takes the initation and starts acting like a father figure to Huck since he never really had one. It gets readers attention on how things were in that time period, and how the flaws in social aspects with the blacks and the whites. -
The Crucible
In Salem, a dozen of girls went into the woods and started to dance. While they were dancing, they got caught. The girls then turned to pretending that they were taken by witches. A ton of people from their town were condemned and killed for witchcraft. Towards the end of the story more people start to catch on to this act that the girls have been doing.
