    McCarthy Hearing
    At Washington D.C. there was a senate hearing derived from seneto Joseph McCarthy'shunt for communist. There was two parts to this hearing the US Army which was accusing their opponents of blackmailing. Second part was Joseph McCarthy, Roy Cohn and G. David Schine was accusing the army of communism. Basically they both were going against each other of the whole hearing that time.
  • Brown vs. BOE

    Brown vs. BOE
    Brown vs.Board of Education was after a guy named Oliver Brown who was actually born in Topeka, Kansas. An African American whose daughter had to face a long commute everyday at school because of the color of her skin. So after his daughter was denied admission to five all white school he did something about it and filed a case about it. Thats when the case came in action in about five states consolidated under Brown once they reached the Supreme Court.

    When President Lyndon B. Johnson signed the bill creating Medicare only half of America’s elderly had any health insurance.

    Medicaid is a joint federal with state which is basically saying is that its helping people and families that has low income salaries so the federal goernment funds up to 50% of the cost of medicaid in each state. Each state has there own rules that they have to follow for medicaid but itdoes help the poor people that are in need.

    The watergate affair began in 1972 on June 17. A break-in at the offices of the National Democratic Committee in the Watergate Complex in Washington, DC.

    This is the 25th year anniversity of this famous speech by the ex president Reagan. This speech was about 100 yards away from the Berlin wall it was marked as the most prominent call for the reunification west and east Berlin.

    On February 12, 1999 te senate was requiring for a conviction about two-thirds majority. Only half of 100 senators voted guilty on the obstruction charge but 45 senators voted for the perjury charge they were only 17 votes short. in the senate which has 55 senators none of them voted for conviction.

    On this day the most incrediable event occured and the most rememberable. Two airplanes crashed into the twin towers in New York and where hundreds of people died and loved ones all over the world have been upset and will be at whoever did this whole mess thats why this will be remembered for a long long time.
