Battle of Lexington and Conord
This battle was the first battle of the Revolutionary War. It took place in Concord, and Lexington. 700 Bitish troops were sent to take away Patriot guns, but they find they have already been moved. No one knows who fired the first shot. The Patriots retreated to Charlestown.

Battle at Bunker Hill
The Battle at Bunker Hill was one of the first battles in the Revolutionary War. The British army ended up defeating the Americans, but Britian ended up losing a lot of troops in the battle. This was a huge confidence booster for the Patriots. This covinced the Patriots that they can beat the mighty British army.

Battle at Quebec
This was an early battle in the Revolutionary War which was fought in Quebec City.This battle was the first major defeat of the American army. This loss also came with heavy losses for the Patriots. Many local residence helped the American army, but the British prevailed.

Battle at Charlston
The American army suffers their worst loss in the war in the Battle at Charlston. The British ended up capturing 3,000 Patriots and some Minute Men. The British army only ended up losing 250 men in battle.

George Washingtons army traveled the Delaware river Christmas day. The Patriots ended up surprising the Hessians. After a brief battle the Patriots captured all the Hessians. This boosted the Patriots confidence.

The Battle at Saratoga was the turning point in the war. America got the victory against the British. This win for the Patriots showed the French army that the Patriots can win. The French army joined up with the Patriots.

The Patriots where withdrawing to Aquidneck island. On the waythe British troops attacked the Patriots. The battle was quick, and the British prevailed taking Aquidneck island

Battle at Yorktown
George Washington, and his army of 17,000 troops attacked Yorktown. British General Lord Charles Cornwallis had 9,000 troops that tried to defend Yorktown. This battle would be the most important battle of the War. Britian ended up surrendering to the Patriots, therfore ending the war.
