The Underground Railroad was an operation used by hundreds of slaves to escape to the free north. Harriet Tubman, a famous escorter of slaves helped over 300 flee to the north by the end of the Underground Railroad in 1862. The artwork titled Harriet is a great representative of her passion and determination to give slaves their chance as a fair life.
