While Amelia was at work she got a call from a guy named Putnam. Putnam asked Amelia if she could do a transatlantic flight, so that she would be the first woman piolet to do that. Amelia said she would, and that she did.

Once the weathered cleared up they set the day of the flight. On the try to take off the plane was to heavy so they had to kick a guy off and get rid of some extra gas.

Soon after Amelia got back from the atlantic flight she decided to do a crosscountry flight. Putnam asked if he could come, and so he did.
