They sailed down the coast of western South America. There they went inland a little ways and found evidence of the Incase and gold. Then he returned to Panama with the news. he became the first Puerto Rican governor after avoiding the island oin 1508. The islan was later named Puerto Rico meaning rich port. he left spain for the search of the fountain of youth.

He wanted Spain to be as wealthy as Portugal. He commanded a fleet of 5 ships and a crew of 256 people. The voyage was a great accomplishment. Since he sailed all the way around the world he proved that the earth is round. It also proved that Chrispher Columbus did not land in Asia but in the Amercians.

1565-1611 was the life span of Henry Hudson. 1607 he was picked to go on the voyage discover a passage by the north pole to Japan and China. He was muntinized and sent on a boat with 8 loyal crew memebers and his son. Henry Hudson was never herd of again or found after that.
