Callie Boone loves to swim, especially with her dad. She used to be best friends with a girl named Amy Higgins but then Amy found a new friend named Samantha McAllister and soon became "enemies' with Callie. -

The setting is usually in CALLIE'S HOUSE, but is also in the pool and a little in Hoots house. It might also be the park. -

Some of the main characters are:
Callie- a girl who loves to swim and thinks that she has the "wierdest" family on the block.
Uncle Danny- a crazy man who likes to keep ferrets as pets
Grandma- a lovable lady who loves to watch Oprah
Dad- a man who is worried about about his health but doesn't do much about it.
Mom- a lady who ,even if there is a police car chasing her, doesn't stop untill she gets her son, Clayton, to the bathroom. -
conflict
This new kid named Hoot moves in the house next to Callie's and he is not shy at all. When he first met Callie he set up his own little time for him and Callie to hang out, and Callie didn't even get a say in what he was planning to do. -
Rising action 1
After a little while, Callie and Hoot finally become freinds and they now they hang out together alot! -
Rising action 2
Hoot goes to the pool with Callie and her dad. Callie gets a little jealous of Hoot being at the pool and hanging out with her dad. -
Rising action 3
Hoot and Callie are soon no longer friends because of the troubles they have been having with fights. After a while they work things out and become friends again! -
Falling action 1
Callie gets kicked out of the pool for jumping off of the diving board and her friends and family are all mad at her for doing it! -
Climax
Callie goes to the pool and doesn't stop herself, even though she knows that she probobally can't do it and everyone is yelling at her to get off, she jumps off of a gigantic diving board and does a big belly flop!! -
Falling action 2
Callie feels embarrased because she did a belly flop in public at the pool and everyone saw what happened. -
falling action 3
Callies dad has to go to the hospital. When he was outside cutting the grass he fainted because of the heat and maybe his health too. -
Resolution 2
Hoot and Callie are now the best of friends and are going to try to stay that way for as long as they can! -
Resolution 1
After coming home from the hospital, Callies dad was fine and he promised to take care of his health from then on. The whole family agreed that that was a good idea and they all are going to try to help him the best that they can.
