Abraham is Born
On February 12th 1809 no one knew that a great leader had been born. He lived a happy childhood until the age of nine when a tragedy occured in his family and left a scar on his livelyhood. -
Mother's Death
A the young age of 9, Abraham had to go through the
traumatising time watching his mother die of tremetol caused by drinking milk from a cow that ate white snake root. ( A very harmfull plant full of toxin.) -
Abe's Father remarried
Shortley after his mother dies, Abraham's Father decides to remarry Sarah Bush Johnston. A young women about the same age as his father, stole his heart and got married nearly immeadiatley after a month or two after meeting him. -
Accountered job as sales clerk
After LIncoln moved to Salem he accountered a job as a sales clerk for a popular business in the small town. -
Proposal to Mary Ann
Shortly after meeting her Lincoln proposed to his dear love, Mary Ann. He proposed in Mary Ann's sisters house even though her parents did not approve of her marrying him at the time. -
His son was born
On this day Linolns son, Robert, was born in to the Lincoln family along with 3 siblings. Three younger brothers each with very different personalities. -
Lincoln voted president
Lincoln was elected president on this glorious day giving hope for people all over America, Black or White. After a year he assumed his place in office. -
He created a secrect service
Just hours before Lincoln was assainated, it was said that he had created a secrect service to protect him. But even with the new service it still would'nt have kept him from death. -
Lincoln was assainated
While he was watching a play without knowing his murderer had slipped into the balcony suite where he and his wife where seated. The murderer took the shot and put a bullet straight into lincoln's head killing him instantly. The death of this beloved president took its toll on the whole of the United States.
