    This is a 6.5x52mm Carcano Model 91/38 infantry riffle also known as a Mannlicher Carcano. This riffle was found on the sxith floor of the Texas School Book Depository Building by Sheriff Weitzman abd Officer Gene Boone.

    Lee Harvey Oswald was born in New Orleans in 1939. When is father died he later went to live his mother. When he was old enough he moved back home to New Orleans and joined the Marines in 1956. Mr. Oswald earned his sharpshooter's qualification. After leaving the Marines with a honorable discharge he purchase a riffle a year later. A journalist Gerald Posner and said that Mr. Oswald did not hate the President but he detested the system and what the President stood for.
