    Act I Sc i- Theseus and Hippolyta
    Duke Theseus of Athens and Queen Hippolyta of the Amazons are preparing for their wedding. Theseus thinks time is moving slowly because he wants it to happen. In contrast, Hippolyta feels that time is moving slowly because she doesn't want to be married.

    Act I Sc i-Egeus' Problem
    Egeus wants his daughter, Hermia, to marry Demetrius, but Hermia is in love with Lysander. To rectify the situation, Egeus calls upon Theseus to enforce the law of Athens. The laws states that a woman must marry her father's choice, or else she will die!

    Act I Sc ii- Rude Mechanicals
    The Rude Machanicals meet in Athens to hand out the parts for the play, "Pyramus and Thisbe," that they will perform for the Duke's wedding. Bottom is such an attention seeking person because he wants all the parts! Quince, the leader, tries to keep him in line by flattering him.

    Puck, AKA Robin Goodfellow, is a trickster. He is said to skim milk and remove a chair just when an old woman was about to sit down. He is the faithful assistant of Oberon, King of the Fairies.

    Act II Sc i- Oberon and Titania's Fight
    King Oberon and Queen Titania of the fairies are fightning over a young Indian changeling. This fight has thrown nature into utter turmoil. Titania wants to raise him as her own boy, but Oberon wants him to be a servant, similar to Puck.

    Once Helena told Demetrius about Hermia and Lysander's elopement in the forest, he sets out to follow his love. Helena follows Demetrius and he tries to escape from her advances. Unhindered, Helena unwaveringly continued to pursue him.

    Act III Sc i- Rude Mechanicals Editing Play
    The Rude Mechanicals think that their performance might be too realistic, so they added clarification to make sure that the ladies remember it's only a play. Also, they enrich the setting of the play by adding the characters, "moonshine" and "the wall." While rehearsing the Rude Mechanicals make many malapropisms.
  • Act III Sc i- Bottom's Asshead

    Act III Sc i- Bottom's Asshead
    Puck, amused by the sillyness of the Rude Mechanicals, changes Bottom's head to that of an ass. His fellow Rude Mechanicals run away in fear and Bottom heads to the forest. There, he finds the sleeping Titania with the love potion anointed on her eyes. She awakens to see Bottom and falls in love with him.

    Act III Sc ii- The Epic Fight With the Lovers
    Now, Lysander and Demetrius are both in love with Helena. She thinks that they are playing a cruel trick on her; Hermia thinks that she stole her lovers away from her. This results with a fight between the previously, "friendly" girls.

    Out of pity, Oberon commands Puck to remove the spells from the Athenians using an antidote flower. However, he leaves Demetrius in love with Helena, in order to keep them happy. Everyone woke up and thought the whole ordeal in the forest was a dream. Now, everyone has a soulmate.
  • Act IV Sc i- Titania is Released

    Act IV Sc i- Titania is Released
    Oberon snatched the changeling boy while TItania was in love with Bottom. Feeling pity for his love, he releases her from the potion and goes off to the Duke's wedding. It is their job to bless the house of this newlywed couple.
  • Act IV Sc ii- The Rude Mechanicals Reunite

    Act IV Sc ii- The Rude Mechanicals Reunite
    Bottom returns from the forest with a normal human head, and his friends greet him with open arms. Instead of telling his story, he commands them to start practicing the play. Excitedly, they continue to "perfect" their parts.
  • Act V Sc i- The Play, the Wedding, and the End

    Act V Sc i- The Play, the Wedding, and the End
    Finally, all of the strings are tied together; the four lovers and the royal couple get married and the Rude Mechanicals perform their play. Additionally, the fairy king and queen are happily united and they bless the couples. Puck reassures the audience with his final monologue when he tells the audience to pretend it was a dream if they were offended, or applaud if they enjoyed it.
