My family vacationed in California with some friends! We went to Disneyland, Sea World, and the Beach! Who doesn't love Mickey Mouse?

My 8th Grade class went on a trip to Washington DC. Every year the 8th grade class gets to go to DC! I've always loved history so I remember this very fondly!

My parents took my brother and I on a magnificent vacation to Kauai! We explored the island, went snorkeling, hiking and kayaking! It made me realize I had a true passion for travel!

My family took my paternal grandmother on a road trip through Glacier Nat'l Park up into Alberta and out through British Columbia! The scenery was absolutely stunning; I can't wait to go back!

I have relatives that live in New Hampshire so we go visit them frequently! I love Boston... so much history!

As a graduation present/family vacation, my family and both sets of grandparents took a cruise up to Alaska! We had some amazing experiences. We flew to a Admiralty Island and watched dozens of Brown Bears play and catch salmon!

I worked at a non profit organization taking care of special needs children ages 6 wks to 21 yrs! Amazing experience!

I went to visit a friend who was studied at Stanford. She showed me around Palo Alto and the Bay area!

The spring semester of my junior year of college I studied at James Cook University in Townsville QLD Australia! It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! I backpacked in the outback, learned to scuba on the Great Barrier Reef, held koala bears, saw a play at the Opera House and oh yeah, went to Uni (school).

I earned my Open Water Scuba Diving Certification!

My grandparents had never been to DC and decided to take my brother and myself on a DC trip! You can really appreciate the Smithsonian more when you are not an 8th grader! Amazing history and great company.

I graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies.

I got a job working as a Para-professional at our local middle school!

I was able to chaperone the 8th grade trip to DC while working in the Middle School. I went with the same teacher that took me and we had the same tour guide! It was quite the experience. A little more stressful when you are trying to keep track of 40 teens but still a fun time!

I realized that I'd like to become a teacher and began taking courses to get me there!

I started working as a Para in the ELEMENTARY school! I love it!
