The steam engine continued to lead to many other revolutionary. inventions all over the world and was the most innovative machine. Without it, the Industrial Revolution might have not even occured

    French Revolution
    This was the age of revolt from the third estate against royalty. Under the rule of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette, the French went hungry. This all ended with the death of Robespierre allowing peace to restore itself after quite a long time. This established the nation as a republic and established the 1,000 years rule of the Kings.

    Haitian Revolution
    This revolt in Saint-Domingue was led by Toussaint L'ouverture. He restores peace to this country. Slavery was abolished during this revolution by the French that has ended up sticking to modern day. This helped give freedom to the people of Haiti, which has carried all the way into the future.

    The Independence of Mexico
    The independence was gained after a disagreement between the Spanish and Mexicans. The middle class was tired of sharing wealth with Spain, mainly the Creoles. They met to decide what to do and Father Miguel Hidalgo made the famous speech: El Grito de Dolores. The Mexicans triumphed winning their independence and maintain it until this very day.

    Led by Austria, the meeting was called to restore order and bring back stability in Europe after Napoleon was defeated. The goal was to repair and fix monarchs after the many years of war and violence. The meeting does not end up unifying Germany and as a result, the German Confederation was created. The Final Act of The Congress of Vienna was created and helped bring control and authority back into Europe.

    This war was Great Britain vs. China. British smuggled opium into China to make some money. After fighting for their rights, China ends up "losing". Out of this came the Treaty of Nanking. This basically allowed the British to sell opium in china. This had a big effect in history because an unfair treaty was honored in China which Great Britain all of the power and control.

    This was a short book written by Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels. This book predicted that there would be a battle between the social classes but did not end up being true, This book was super popular and became one of the most read books in history. It also created the titles of "haves" and "have-nots".

    The Sepoys were Indian soldiers working for the East India Company. The Indians had mixed beliefs of Hindu and Muslim, both greatly respecting animals. Animal fats were used on the guns, which did not sit well with the Sepoys, so they refused to load them. This event left a lasting feeling o fear, dislike and doubt. The British changed their policy eventually getting rid of the East India Company for good.

    After the War of 1864, Germany was unified under the rule of the prime minister of Prussia. Otto Van Bismarck used his rule of "blood and iron" to unite Germany under Prussian rule. He fought many wars defeating Austria and winning the Franco- Prussian War. It all ended with the Treaty of Frankfurt in 1871. France pays Germany and surrender. This made Germany a great power and has helped unify it for a very long time.

    The Berlin Conference was called to establish territories and trade within Africa. Without African representation at the conference, it was divided up into about 50 countries. in 1914, only Ethiopia and Liberia were independent with everyone else under European Rule. This was a major imperialism period and created European colonization and trade in Africa.

    This war was fought to figure out the borders between Japan and Russia. The Japanese end up defeating the Russians and gaining Korea and the territory of Manchuria. Upon their arrival, the Japan exploits the culture and ways of the native poeple. They also take up the resources and disrespect the land. This ends up weakening Russia and was a major event in history.

    This event was British Rule vs. South Africa. It was also known as the Bambatha Rebellion. The Zulus were a large group of people in South Africa. This was a revolt in Natal South Africa against British Taxation and rule. The Zulus began to rebel in 1879 and continued until the last of them in 1906. They won and gained and control and the respect of the British strengthening them in history.

    He was named president of the people. He joined a communist group but continued to believe in his own ideas. He wanted to rule all of China and formed the nationalists in China. He also gained control of the South and had his eye on the North next. He helped change China making a major event.
