    12:00-Passengers began to arrive in Southhampton for the voyage to New York.

    7:30-The radio room recieved three more warnings of ice about fifty miles ahead.

  • Captain is informed of iceberg warnings

    9:00-The captain left the banquet being held for him and went to th bridge

  • Iceberg spotted!

    11:40-Fred Fleet and his fellow lookout were waiting to be relieved, spots an iceberg

  • Lifeboats are ordered to be filled.

    12:30-Captain Smith gave orders to load lifeboats. (women and children first)

  • First lifeboat is launched

    12:45-Lifeboat 7 is lauched, only half-full

    1:30-As the bow was noticably down, Bride and Phillips despreately send distress calls
