    Henry clay had to do with the Missouri Comprimise. The Compromise made Missouri a slave state, and the North got Maine as a free state. The Compromise was made in Maine 1820 by the members of the congress.

    Slavery was African Americans being forced to work for cruel white men. They were in the South because the North had machines for them, and the South didnt have as much machines. Harriet Tubman was one the major conducter in the Underground railroad.

    The Comprimise was hard like any cause. It got California to be a free slave state, and they had stopped selling slaves in Washington DC. This act was tied into slavery also.

    The Kansas-Nebraska Act was a disaster. Both states got to chose if they wanted to be a free state or a slave state. Kansas got into a huge war with the anti-slavery group, and the slavery group. This act was going into Bleeding Kansas. But Kansas finally chose to be a non slave state right before the shots of the Civil War.

    The John Brown Rebilion was one of the major causes of the Cilvil War. John Brown planed to attack a Federal arensal in Harpers Ferry. He tried but right when he got their with his sons and a group of loyal supporters were surronded by a local Militia group. John Brown was hung and his sons were killed.

    Abraham Lincon was elected for president in 1860. The other candidates had lost. Abraham Lincon was from the North so he had stopped slavery in U.S.A. The South had to give up thier slaves.

    South Carolina decided they didnt want to be apart of the North and the South so they wanted to be their own. Then Tennessee, North Carolina, Florida, Alabama, Arkansas, and Virginia chose to go with them. This began the process of the state separation.
