  • Boston Massacre

    Boston Massacre
    In Boston a big situation inclimbed, the soliers and civilians finally went to the troops and handed in there muskets. This happend shortly after a rioting crowd had attacked, this left three lives lost and eleven injuries, which two of the injured died shortly after.
  • Boston Tea Party

    Boston Tea Party
    The tea that was being taxed was asked to be sent back to Britian, but the British refused. The colonist then took action, because they did not like the tea being taxed. The colonist snuck on the ships with taxed tea and started throwing the tea overboard.
  • Battle of Lexington & Concord

    Battle of Lexington & Concord
    The battle was the first small battle of the American Revolution and took place in multiple cities. Shortly after the battle begun around 700 people were sent by Francis Smith to find and distroy the Militia's weapons. Shortly later everyone knew about the hidden weapons and the British began to march back to Boston. On the way back though civilians snuck in various places and then began to shoot and this is what started the battle.
  • Battle of Bunker Hill

    Battle of Bunker Hill
    The Battle of Bunker Hill happend early in the American Revolutionary War. Most of this battle took place on a hill adjacent to what was called Bucker Hill. The defenders eventually ran out of ammunition causing the British to win the battle.
  • Declaration of Independence Signing

    Declaration of Independence Signing
    A document that was written mostly by Thomas Jefferson. This document was written to stand for the independence that we have. We today still celebate the independence of our country, because of this document every fourth of July. This stood for the independence of the thirteen colonies back when it was written.
  • Battle of New York

    Battle of New York
    On August 26, 1776 the British soldiers decided to go out and try to take over New York. During this war Washington screwed up majorly, but his biggest mistake was to try and fight everything and win everything in the New York battle. Howe (British top person) did not succend when trying to defeat Wahington's army and ended up giving up the best chance of winning the rebellion.
  • Battle of Trenton

    Battle of Trenton
    The Continental Army had recently just went through many losses in the past few wars. The so many defeats then lead them to go a different way than expected to travel. That lead to the battle in Trenton, which while traveling the soldiers had very harsh weather conditions and caused other ways of travel again. The battle of Trenton had quite small number, but that didn't mean anything to these people. The American's won and it made everyone rebelling them to stop and care.
  • Battle of Princeton

    Battle of Princeton
    The battle of Princeton took place in New Jersey. The battle consisted of the Americans going againist the British. The American's did win this battle! Once Washington recieved the news that British troops were awaiting to fight, he began his travel to Princeton and the battle arose!
  • Battle of Saratoga

    Battle of Saratoga
    The battle of Saratoga actually consisted of two different battles the first one on September 19th and the second battle followed on October 7th. The war consisted of the British and German troops againist the American troops. The American's won the battle by forcing the others to surrendor. People from Canada wanted to isolate an area and that is what started the battle to begin with.
  • Valley Forge

    Valley Forge is a plot of land that was used one winter for American troops to stay on during the winter harsh months. The troops stayed here six months! No battle was ever fought on this plot of land it was just for settling.
  • Battle of Yorktown

    Battle of Yorktown
    During this war the American's and the French were on the same side! A siege then broke out with the British which then caused a bad bombardment between everyone. The battle then began shortly following with people shooting and a storm began at the beginning of the battle. This battle lasted till October 19th and the American's and the French won the battle!
  • Treaty of Paris (the one that ended the Revolutionary War)

    Treaty of Paris (the one that ended the Revolutionary War)
    The Treaty of Paris is a document that a group of people signed representing that the Revolution is affically over. Yes, I know what you are thinking didn't Cornwallis surrender in Yorktown? Yes, that is true, but that didn't end the fuse there were still small little battles taking place, so they decided to write a treaty to settle everything.
