    In the year of 1970, Kent State University. protested Nixon's expansion of the war into Cambodia. Ohio's governor then called the National Guard to restore peace.He arrived on campus wiht loaded rifles and gas masks. He wounded 15 protesters and killed 4. Nixon blamed the protesters for the incident, but Americans blamed the government.
