Nat wakes up in 1599
Nathan field and Nat have swapped places and nat is now in 1599 -
Nat field goes to the original globe theatre
When Nat wakes up a boy named Harry tells him that he has been borrowed from st pauls boys school as a boy actor to play for William Shakespeare and Dick Burbage -
Nat meets more actors
Nat meets the rest of the actors such as Thomas, Roper, Nick and alex, all boy actors -
nat has an enemy
nat and the other actors are fencing and nat is against roper and roper lunges for his neck but henry condell grabs his arm and yanks to stop it from hurting nat -
Roper gives nat the wrong signal when rehearsing
while richard burbage and the others are acting one of their plays
roper gives the wrong signal for when to open the trapdoor underneath and nat gets the blame. -
Going to the bear pit
roper denies everything about giving the signal to nat and suggest that they all go to the bear pit roper has a secret way in and they all watch the bear fight but nat realises that the bear is blind and when the bear strikes one of the dogs down a huge pool of blood leaks from his stomach and he runs away thinking of a terrinble memory -
nat tells shakespeare everything
the next morning nat when nat got to the globe theatre roper was talking about talking to some of the other boys and calling him a little lass and when they all leave nat breaks down and tells shakespeare how his mother died and how his father killed himself and there around him was a big pool of bright red blood and shakespeares son hamnet died from the plague -
Nat goes to live with shakespeare
later that day nearing the evening when the other actors are heading home shakespeare asks burbage if nat can come and live with him and burbage lets him and he goes to live with william shakespeare -
The duke comes to will shakespeares house
nat wakes up in the morning to find the duke came to wills house and told him that the queen was coming to see the dream -
rehearsing the dream
nat and will head back to the globe theatre to performing a but while they are there when it is shakespeares turn to perform and roper comes off of the stage he grabs an apple to annoy the tireman and keeps mocking him until he chokes on the apple and nat performs the heimlic maneouver and roper throws up and nat performs his part, roper thanks nat for saving his life and performing for him and harry says that he is a white witch -
the boys go to the pub to celebrate the play
the boys celebrate the henry v play -
returning home
after celebrating at the pub nay and shakespeare head back home , but nat is leaving in the morning to go back to st pauls school and doesn't want to leave shakespeare, they get back and he goes to bed holding the poem under his pillow, he dreams and switch's back with the other nathan field -
performing the play
finally nat and the rest of the company are performing a midsummer nights dream for the queen and the people of london and it is a huge sucess -
nat meets the queen
after the play some royal guards take nat, richard burbage and william shakespeare to the queen where they are congradulated and asked to play at her court -
nat is back home
nat has now returned from shakespearean england and wakes up in guys hospital dreading that it was all just a dream
