African American Slaves
The first African American Slaves arrived in the Americas. Between 1500 and 1600 nearly 300,000 Africans were transported as slaves to the Americas. Throughout the next century that number hit almost 1.3 million. By the end of the slave trade Europeans had imported about 9.5 million Africans to the Americas. -

Francisco Pizarro conquered the Incan Empire. A conquista dor who conquered the Incan empire with the help of Malinche, his translator. -
Jamestown
The English Founded Jamestown. A settlement in Virginia named after King James. The start of Jamestown was disastrous, eventually the Europeans gained a foothold on their new land and Jamestown became the first English permanent settlement in North America. -
Plymouth
The English founded Plymouth. A colony formed by a group known as Pilgrims. This was the second colony in North America and was located in Massachusetts. The Pilgrims left England with hope for religous freedom. -
French and Indian War
The French and Indian War ended. A dispute over land claims in the Ohio Valley that led to a war between the British and French on the North American cotinent that became known as the French and Indian War.
