  • Birth Date

    The day I was born.
  • Testicular Cancer Screening (Monthly & Yearly)

It is recommended that young men begin to do self-examinations for testicular cancer monthly, or have a physical done annually starting at the age of 15 until the age of 55. The exam is performed by doing a basic feel of the area, searching for any lumps, and will move on to a professional examination if it is required.
  • Skin Cancer Screening (Monthly & Yearly)

Skin Cancer Screening (Monthly & Yearly)

It is recommended that men should get skin cancer screenings starting at the age of 25. This is done by checking your skin every month to identify any changes and abnormalities (weird-looking moles, birthmarks, or other marks). You can also have annual appointments with a dermatologist for a professional full-body exam. If it is suspected you have skin cancer, a sample of skin cells will be taken and examined for any cancerous behaviors.
  • Prostate Cancer Screening (Yearly)

    Prostate Cancer Screening (Yearly)

Screenings for prostate cancer are recommended for men who are 45 or older. One screening is done by a prostate examination, in which the doctor will manually feel the prostate and the surrounding area through the anus. The other test is a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) blood test. This measures the level of PSA in the blood which can determine if one has prostate cancer. These procedures should be done annually.
  • Colorectal Cancer Screening (Dependent)

    Colorectal Cancer Screening (Dependent)

It is recommended that men ages 45 should be screened for colorectal cancer. A sigmoidoscopy can be done where the doctor puts a short, thin, flexible, lighted tube into your rectum. The doctor checks for polyps or cancer inside the rectum and lower third of the colon. A colonoscopy can be done where a long, thin, flexible, lighted tube is used to check for polyps or cancer inside the rectum and the entire colon. Regular screening begins at age 45 and should be done every 5-10 years.
  • Colon Cancer Screening (Yearly)

Starting at the age of 45-50, men should begin to be screened for colon cancer. This screening typically is done in the form of a colonoscopy, which is a procedure in which a doctor will insert a camera into the colon and actively search for any polyps that have formed. This should be done annually.
  • Lung Cancer Screening (Yearly)

This screening is used to detect any cancer in the lungs, in which a CT scan is used to examine the chest cavity and lungs for any cancer. This test should be done annually, however, it may not have to be done as frequently if there is no history of smoking in your lifetime. Healthy people should get them starting from age 55.
