    Inspiration To Become a Leader
What influenced William Bradford to become responsible for the movement to the new world? William Bradford was a devoter to God, who believed that The new world would offer them more oppurunities than England to exercise their religion. • Mary Rowlandson: Captivated

    Mary Rowlandson: Captivated
How do you think Mary Rowlandson died? Mary Rowlandson could've died because of many reasons. Aside from the fact that she was first captivated, then her children were killed and she faced hardships and meager situations regarding living conditions, I believe Mary Rowlandson died because of nothing but sorrow. There couldve been other reasons to her death, maybe illness, but I believe that the main cause was the fact that she had nothing and no one to live for anymore.
  • Richard Baxter's Imprisonment

    Richard Baxter's Imprisonment
Do you think that ater being imprisoned twice for his actions on speaking against the New England stopped him from being so verbal about his opinnions? No, I believe that Richard Baxter was a very opinnionated individual, who spoke about what he thought was siginificant to his religion. I might not see eye to eye with his way of transporting those opinnions to the common public, but I give him the respect for speaking his mind against the way the England government treated him.
  • Jonathan Edwards

    Jonathan Edwards
How do you think Jonathan Edawrds might have felt about "unregenrate" Christians? I think Jonathan Edwards was strongly against the opinnions of the "unregenerate" Christians who accepted the church doctorine but didn't accept the fact that the were being born again in God's grace. I also think that Jonathan was a very narrow minded and strict religiousn pastor who was really rigid with his opinnions and had a strict view on Christian faith and God.
  • Matthew Henry: Nonconformist

    Matthew Henry: Nonconformist
How is Matthew Henry siginificant enough to be on you timeline? Matthew Henry is first of all known to be a nonconformist defined to be an individual who who separated themselves from the established state Church of England, and because of him being this powerful, self developed indicidual, Ive given him the honor to be on my timeline. He also was known for his commentary on the bible which was diffrent than any other commentary because he was more practical rather than critical.
  • Jonathan Edwards: Leading Figure In The Great Awakening

Why did Edwards religious views change so swiftly from being a non-believer of the soverignty of God to the absolute devotion and acceptance to Christ?
Edward in the begening had no belief in the soverignty of God and his powers. Being an intellectual, he had a very diffrent point of view, and a perspective of religion. It is said that Edward was meditating on a portion of the Bible where he suddenly felt the emerging love for God, and the actual truth, which profuondly changed him.
