    In the 2000’s the USB Flash drives were introduced, Invented by Don Moran, Pua Khein-seng, and M-Systems. Sometimes referred to as jump drives or memory sticks, these drives consisted of flash memory encased in a small device with a USB interface. They were faster and had greater data capacity than earlier storage media. They could be used for data storage and in the backing up and transferring of files between various devices.

    In 2007 Apple launched the iPhone which was introduced by Steve Jobs, it was a revolutionary combination of web browser, music player and cell phone. The touchscreen enabled the smartphones to have a new functionality in the form of "apps". As well as a GPS navigation system, a high-definition camera, a texting feature, weather reports, and even a calendar. Which is a giant step towards the unbelievable time of technology that we are currently lucky to be in.

It was the first Kindle to feature wireless access to content, along with an SD card slot allowing for increased storage.
