2000 - USB Flash Drive
In the 2000’s the USB Flash drives were introduced, Invented by Don Moran, Pua Khein-seng, and M-Systems. Sometimes referred to as jump drives or memory sticks, these drives consisted of flash memory encased in a small device with a USB interface. They were faster and had greater data capacity than earlier storage media. They could be used for data storage and in the backing up and transferring of files between various devices. -

2007 - The Apple iPhone Is Released
In 2007 Apple launched the iPhone which was introduced by Steve Jobs, it was a revolutionary combination of web browser, music player and cell phone. The touchscreen enabled the smartphones to have a new functionality in the form of "apps". As well as a GPS navigation system, a high-definition camera, a texting feature, weather reports, and even a calendar. Which is a giant step towards the unbelievable time of technology that we are currently lucky to be in. -
2007 - Hulu Is Founded
Hulu is a joint venture founded by News Corporation and NBC Universal, and later Providence Equity Partners and The Walt Disney Company. Hulu allows users to watch streaming video content on-demand, it’s only available in the US. Hulu brings series from all around the world to its service, as well as produces its own original content. -
2007 - The Amazon Kindle Is Released
In 2007 the Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos released the Kindle, with branding consultants, Michael Cronan and Karin Hibma, helping devise the famous “Kindle” name. They were the first to gain a large following among consumers, and the first release proved so popular there was a long delay in delivering systems upon release. It was the first Kindle to feature wireless access to content, along with an SD card slot allowing for increased storage. -

In 2009 TeliaSonera launched the world's first commercial LTE mobile services in Stockholm and Oslo, respectively due to Ericsson and Huawei supplying network equipment.
