    The Bay of Pigs was the failed military invasion of Cuba by the CIA. It lasted until April 19, 1961.
  • I Have A Dream

    The "I Have a Dream" speech was given by Martin Luther King Jr. during the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. Martin Luther King Jr. called for civil and economic rights to all people, and an end to racism.

  • The First Man on The Moon

  • The Watergate Scandal

    The scandal begin in 1972 and lasted until 1974. It began with a break-in by five men at the Democratic National Committee (DNC) headquarters at the Watergate office complex in Washington, D.C. They were caught going through files and trying to plant listening devices. President Nixon denied any knowledge of it. However, due to the intense suspicion of Nixon's role, Nixon resigned from presidency.
