Margaret Sanger was a birth control activist, sex educator, writer, and nurse. She was born September 14, 1879, and died in 1966 on September 6. Her work eventually founded the American Birth Control League and she brought effective birth control into the American mainstream.

It was very important because people didn’t have to be there in order to watch sports, news, or music. They were then able to listen to it when they were in their cars.

The red scare was hysteria about a threat said by the communists in the U.S. during the Cold war. The US government raided the headquarters of radical organizations. The raids were a group that targeted Italian immigrants and Eastern European Jewish Immigrants. Sacco and Vanzetti were 2 Italian immigrant anarchists. They were both convicted of murdering a quad and a playmate on the 15th of April, 1920.

The gold standard also had a big impact on the great depression because the US experienced declining output of gold and they lost a lot of money. There was also a big drought that lasted throughout the 1930s and many faced unemployment, many lost their homes, and almost half of the American banks closed.
