    On May 28th 1830 Andrew Jackson passed the Indian Removal Act.This act meant that Indian Tribes had to move west.The Cherokee Tribe in Georgia refused to move and were supported by the Supreme Court.Troops gathered them up and drove them west mostly on foot.This was called The Trail of Tears.
