    The Great Sioux War

    The Great Sioux War, also known as the Black Hills War, was fought between the allied Lakota Sioux and Northern Cheyanne tribes, which fought against the United States Government. This war happened due to America wanting to invade the Black Hills in South Dakota because an abundance of gold had been found.
