Nat Turner and his fellow slaves killed fifty five people and as a result of the rebellion two-hundred black people were killed out of suspicion of being a apart of the rebellion.

Once the treaty had been completed the United States thought they had rights to settle easy of the Mississippi in the Sauk land. The Sauk believed the treaty was invalid because there was not enough Indian representation. Twenty Eight years later during the lead boom, settlers rushed to settle in the Sauk land and as a result Suak leader Black Hawk led 1,200 Sauk men to take back their land.
