The Salem Witch trials were a series of events which included hearings and prosecutions for the people who had been accused of practicing witchcraft. If one had been accused, it was nearly impossible to prove otherwise. If proven guilty, the defendant would possibly be executed. The Witch Trials started when three girls got accused of performing witch craft.
