Henry Hubson
There is no exact date given for this exploration, but in this year ten dutch east Indiana company in holl and hires Henry Hudson to set for china. He tried to sail across the topot Europe near the artic circle. -
North-West passage
Henry Hudson had to find a short cut to Asia. He belived that North America was only seventy miles wide so he could sail right through it but i wasnt. -
Hudson reaches Main
In July of 1609 Hudson reaches Main and the Cheasapeak Bay. All they had to do was sail there. -
Robert De Lasalle
This year he sailed to New France and explored the Ohio River. He set out to travil the Missisippi River that was explained to him by the Indians. -
Lasalle finds Louisianna
He set out to sell the Missisippi River in Canoes. He named the area around the mouth of the River Louisianna after French king, king Lous xlv .
