The indian act is established and controls many aspects of first nations personslives from there biurth to there death. indian restictins are made and the they loos a lot of there righs. and so becaus of that the govnment makes most of the decitions for the indians. -
Residential Scchools
The indian act is a law stating that your children must go to a residenchil school foir there edgucation. they are mostly church run schools that are run down and abusiv to the children. The law required compulsory attendance for those status Indians under the age of 16 until they reached the age of 18 years of age in Indian schools. There were 130 of these schools in cananda and most of these schools ceased to operate by the mid-1970s; the last of the schools closed in Canada in 1996. -

the law that restricted Jewish immageants from entering Cananda becaus of WWII. all the Jewish immagrats were fleing gremany and all the serounding contrys to flee Hitler and his Nazi killing mation. so all the immagrants were fleeing germany and coming to Canada trying to escap persicution. but Canadian government was not imprest about all the immagerants coming to Canada and so the Canadian government band the ships briing new immagrants to Cananda. -
