This Act had the Colonies get taxed on every item they purchased. This meant more spending for the Colonies. -
Boston Massacre
The American soldiers got mad at the British soldiers. They met in Boston to declare the situation. The British soldiers thought they heard fire and some colonists died. This got the colonists more angry. -
Gaspee Affair
Wiliam Duddington is charged with patrolling the waters of Narragnsett Bay by Rhode Island for stealing things from other people's boats. -
The Tea Act
Massachusettes didn't want the British to have any new taxes. The British only let the colonies buy tea from The British East Tea Company. They tried and tried to not just buy tea from there, but it didn't work. So they made a plan. -
The Boston Tea Party
The Colonists dressed up as Native Americans and threw tons of tea in the ocean. They did that because they didn't like buying tea from one company and being high taxed on it. -

An act for or the impartial administration of justice in the case of persons questioned faraway. These were acts done by them in exception of the law. -
Intolerable Acts
The British spent lots of money on troops and equipment. This ment war for America. -
The Declaration of Independence
This document said that the colonies are no longer thier own country. They will not follow the British rules or laws.
