The Enabling Act of 1933 approved by the German government gave Hitler unlimited power. This allowed him to become dictator of Germany. I find this event important to World War 2 because it allowed Hitler to Become the powerful dictator that he was.

Night of the Long Knives or Operation Hummingbird was a string of political murders orchestrated by Hitler to prevent an uprising. I find this important to the beginning of World War 2 because did not have those politicians killed there may have been an uprising and Hitler may have been overthrown.

The German Reich and the United Kingdom reach an agreement regulating the size of their respective navies. This is known as the Anglo-German Naval Agreement (AGNA). Disagreements ensued which later lead Hitler to denounced the agreement.

The day Hitler denounced the German-Polish Non-Aggression Pact. I find this important to the beginning to World War 2 because If Hitler didn't denounce the pact then he would not have invaded Poland and WW2 never would have started.
