    What the 19th Amendment does is prohibits any United States citizen from being denied the right to vote regardless of the citizenz gender. This Amendment was passed by Congress on June 4, 1919, to be ratified later on August 18, 1920. After many women came together to form marches, lectures, etc. the right for them to vote was finally granted.

    During the Genoa Conference the Soviet government was able to conclude the Treaty of Rapallo of 1922 with Germany. On Russia's behalf, the agreement was signed by Georgi Chicherin and on Germany's behalf the treaty was signed by Walther Rathenau. This treaty provided immediate and complete resumption of diplomatic relations between Russia and Germany.

    German foreign minister and nobel prize winner Stresemann dies
    Born on May 10, 1878 the minister was the winner of the Peace Prize of 1926 in which he shared with the French Foreign Minister Aristide Briand. Before Stesemann fell interested in politics and before he was Foreign Minister he had studied literature, history, economics, and also worked with business. He was elected Foreign Minister in 1907. He died after several heart attacks on the 3rd of October, 1929.

The crash was also said to be what signaled the beginning of the 10 year Great Depression time period in hich affected all Western industrialized countries.

    In hope of creating a stable government Hitler was placed as chancellor of Germany. This marked a crucial turning point for Germany and also the entire world. He had plans to completely do away with politics and Germany a powerful, unified one-party state. He immediately began changeing things. There was little that anyone could do to stop him.

    German President Hindenburg dies
    His death was very much anticipated. He died opening the door for the tranny of Adolf Hitler, of whom he had appointed chancellor in 1933. Even after he died he was still a well respected figure nationwide and was buried with his wife at Tannenburg, the sight of the Great Victory against the Russians during World War 1. As the second World War approached there bodies were dug up so the Russians would not get them and were later reburied by Americans at Marburg.
