    Adolf writes his book, Mein Kampf, while in prison. He uses this book to spread his influence and corrupt philosophy throughout Germany. The book had multiple volumes. The first one sold over 9,000 copies on the first day.

    In 1927 Stalin rooted out all of his political opponents and became the unquestionable leader of the Soviet Union. This began one of the most brutal regimes in all of human history.

    The 1st 5 Year Plan was concentrated on improving the Soviet Union's heavy industry and collectivizing agriculture. This led to a drastic fall in consumer products. This marked the first instance of the implementation of a fully communist government.

    Holodomor was man-induced famine caused by Joseph Stalin in order to collectivize agriculture. The communists forced the peasant farmers to give up their lands. This led to a huge drop in production and the deaths of about 3.5 million Ukrainian.

    Hitler becomes the Chancellor of Germany. He does this with the support of the Nazi Party. This demonstrates how vast the influence of the Nazi Party was when Hitler was starting to gain power. Hitler was essentially one step away from the highest position in all of Germany.

    Nuremburg Laws Enacted

    The Nuremberg Laws were enacted in order to strip all Jewish people of their human rights. They forbid Jewish people from marrying anyone of German descent. They were essentially a series of racist policies meant to corner anyone Hitler deemed inferior.

    Italy unilaterally invaded Ethiopia and ignored all arbitrations from them. Their main goal was to raise their national prestige.

    Stalin implements the Great Purge, a campaign of political repression, ethnic cleansing, Red Army leadership, police surveillance in the Soviet Union. The gulags were essentially labor camps used to imprison and monitor potential political enemies and nuisances.

    On December 13th, 1997 Japanese military assaulted Nanking and murdered thousands of Chinese citizens. Additionally, between 20,000 and 80,000 women were sexually assaulted during the Rape of Nanking. The Japanese also massacred about 150,000 "war prisoners".
