    Germany Invades Poland
    On September 1, 1939, Germany brings about its plan to attack Poland. Polands army was taken down easily. This allowed German forces to storm the country with ease. This action did have repercussions, though. Britain then declared war on Germany on September 3rd.

    Hitler had the idea that he must protect Denmark because of their treaty. He decided to do this by invading the country. Way to go Hitler, good boy. So, on April 9, 1940, German troops crossed the border into Denmark.

    On May 10, 1940, Germany set its sights onto Holland and Belgium. The small, defenseless countries were no match to the 136 divisions of the German superpower. The battles waged until the Dutch had sustained a good 100,000 causualties and decided to surrender. Team Dutch!
