Germany, Italy, and Japan attack Russia with a huge force of over 4 million troops. -

Germany has surrendered and the allied are now focusing on the pacific theatre. -

The United States drops the Atomic Bomb on Hiroshima, Japan. The city is devastated. -
Nagasaki
Another atomic bomb is dropped on Nagasaki, Japan. -
End of WWII
Japan surrenders to US General Douglass MacArthur and the Allies.
