The Japanese attack Pearl Harbor, a naval base in Hawaii. They do this out of revenge, because America had stop trading with them, and to show off to Hitler.

The U.S. enters the war ready for vengeance. With Great Britain as a good friend, they willingly declared war on Japan as well. And together came up with a plan to take down Hitler and his German empire.

D-Day is the day that Allied forces reached the shorelines of France. The Allies attacked where the Germans didn't think they would, and the Germans didn't send back-up. The Allies eventually accomplished their goal of liberating France.

V-E day is victory in Europe day. Germany fell, Hitler killed himself, and the war was over in Europe.

V-J day is victory in Japan day. The Japanese only surrounded after two atomic bombs were dropped on Japanese cities.
