    After WWI, the Treaty of Versailles blamed Germany for starting the war, made them pay reparations, and de-militarized their army. Adolf Hitler used the treaty and the Great Depression to rise power and convinced Germans to turn against the world. Then Hitler decided to take control of Sudetenland and broke Britian's policy of Appeasement. Starting the war because he did not keep his word.

    WWII Starts
    Hitler did not keep his word, conquering the rest of Czechoslovakia. Hitler threatens Jews and other races for the cause of Germany's stablity. Trying to avoid war with the Soviet Union, Germany and Russia sign a non-agression pact. Hitler then invades Poland. Soon France and Britain declare war on Germany.

    Axis vs Allies
    Germany invades Netherlands and France. France invaded in 6 weeks. United States and other nations (Allies) gets involved in war with Germany while nations backing up Germany (Axis Powers) enter the war!

    The Battle of Britain
    Trying to gain air superiority, Germany and Britain fought by air forces. Germany failed to defeat Britain's air forces which changed the course of WWII for not conquering Britain!
  • Pearl Habor

    Pearl Habor
    Preventing the U.S. Pacific Fleet from interferring with military actions, Japan attacks Pearl Habor killing 2,402 Americans and 188 U.S. aircrafts. The surprise attack made the United States enter the war and declared war on Axis Powers!

    Battle of Midway
    A successfully attack on Japan by the U.S. due to the help of codebreakers, gaining information on Japan's next attack on the United States. Destorying four Japanese aircrafts and a heavy cruiser, which was a turning point of WWII after the U.S. gave hope to defeating the Axis Powers.

    Italy Surrenders!
    After Mussolini was thrown out of office, the new government surrenders to the Allies. Then the government agreed to an armistic with the Allies. The armistic was publicly announced by Italy, leaving Germany without Italy's help.

    D-Day
    Allies starting their invasion of the European mainland. Under General Eisenhower, 160,000 soldiers landed in Normandy, France. Landed by American, British, and Candian troops the Germans cannot keep up with the Allies after resisting many casualties. Soon the Allies took control of France, next planning to take over Germany.
  • Hitler's Suicide

    Hitler's Suicide
    Mussolini was captured near the village of Dongo heading to Switzerland to board a plane to escape to Spain which a day after was executed. As Hitler's ideas of Germany ruling the world came to an end, he commited suicide in Führerbunker, Berlin before he could be captured with his wife, Eva, who were married less than two days.

    Soon after Hitler's death, Germany collapsed and surrendered after being surrounded by the Allies. Then the Allies took advantade and advanced taking control of Okinawa. Finally the Allies atomic bomb Hiroshima and Nagaskai, leading to the difficult surrender of Japan. Ending the war, Japan signed the Japanese Instrument of Surrender!
