    In an event known as Blitzkrieg [lightning war] Germany takes Poland in a violent and succumbing attack. This was an example of the appeasing towards Germany by Britain and France.

  • France and Britian Declare War on Germany

    Post Blitzkrieg, France and Britian having pledged loyalty to Poland served Hitler with an ultimatum; withdraw from Poland or else. He refused and Britain and France declared war.

    They begin to evacute the beach... no clue how they might do.

    A plebiscite was held to see if Canadians would allow the governemnt to retract their previous statement regarding conscription. Canada voted 3 to 1 in favour of allowing the governement to enforce conscription. Most of the yes votes came from english speaking Canadians.

    Canadian, British and Polish troops tried to take German occupied Dieppe but the Germans were too strong and the geographical conditions were not considered. Eg; tanks too hevay for the sand.it was essentially over before it really started and almost 60% of Canadian troops were killed, injured or captured.

  • US Drops Second Atomic Bomb on Nagasaki Japan

    After Hiroshima, Japan would still not surrender which 'forced' the US to drop another bomb on Nagasaki.
