Slovakia on the 23rd, Hungary on the 20th, Romania on the 22nd. -
Independent State
The leaders of the terrorist Ustasa proclaimed the so called independent state Croatia. The new state province includes Bosnia-Herzegovina. Croatia joins the axis on June 15, 1941. -
Declaring War
Untied States Declared war on Japan and December 11-13, 1941 Germany and axis powers declare war on the Untied States. -
Naples
Allied troops landed on the beaches near Naples -
Normandy
British and US troops successfully land on the Normandy beaches of France, opening a Second Front against the Germans. -
End of War
Japan formally surrenders and ending World War 2.
