  • Begining

    Germany invades Poland which begins WWll

  • Winter War

    The Soviet Union invades Finland. The Finn sue for an armistice and have to cede the northern shores of Lake Lagoda and the small Finnish coastline on the Arctic Sea to the Soviet Union.
    Ends in March 12, 1940

  • Italy's entry

    Italy enters the war and they invade southern France on June 12

  • Axis joining

    Slovakia on the 23rd, Hungary on the 20th, Romania on the 22nd.

  • Independent State

    The leaders of the terrorist Ustasa proclaimed the so called independent state Croatia. The new state province includes Bosnia-Herzegovina. Croatia joins the axis on June 15, 1941.

  • Declaring War

    Untied States Declared war on Japan and December 11-13, 1941 Germany and axis powers declare war on the Untied States.

  • Naples

    Allied troops landed on the beaches near Naples

  • Normandy

    British and US troops successfully land on the Normandy beaches of France, opening a Second Front against the Germans.

  • End of War

    Japan formally surrenders and ending World War 2.
