    Assassination of Archduke Ferdinand
    On June 28, 1914, the Archduke of Austria, Franz Ferdinand, was assassinated. He and his wife were shot by a nationalist on their way to visit the capital of Sarajevo, located in Bosnia. This killing had a chain-reaction of outbreaks that soon sparked the beginning of WW1. Because he was on an official trip, it had a huge impact on the other country's views.

    Battle of Gallipoli

    One of the first battles in WW1 history, located in the Ottoman Empire. This battle would last a little less than a year. The victory of this battle goes to the Ottoman Empire.

    On May 7, 1915, the Luistania was shot and soon sank. German navy identified the ship as a torpedo. German representatives warned the United Kingdom. Yet, the United Kingdom continued with the launch of the Lusitania.

    During late 1915s, the German navy decided to limit the number of submarines they used in battle. This limitation made it easier to maneuver around without being spotted by enemy ships. Unlike other submarines, the German navy used U-boats which acted as both ships and submarines, submerging underwater when enemies drew near.

    At the beginning of 1917, the German government developed a system of speech to communicate with each other with ease. This system was used to communicate with other camps around the continent of Europe. In other words, this new technology was a revelation of its time.

    The start of the Russian Revolution. This lasted for about 8 months. This event was to go against the government to change it to the Soviet Union.

    After the end of the Russian Revolution, they decided to leave the war. With Russia dismissed from war, the Allied Forces had a difficult time with the Axis Forces. The withdraw caused a lot of discussions, leading to Armistice.

    After 8 months, the Russian Revolution ended. The revolution (in this instance) was a success, equalizing political and economic issues associated with Russia's people. The balance is known as Communism; an equal balance of economy, political stance, and food supply.

    After the conflict that erupted four years in the past, Russia and Germany discussed ideas to end the war. With the two countries and a new government, it allowed for a better viewpoint. With that, the two signed a peace treaty signifying the truce between the two major countries.

    This battle only lasted for 3 weeks. Within that time, the battle was one of the first battles that included the United States. The victory of this battle goes to the Allied Forces.

    The Treaty of Versailles is one of the most important documents of World History, ending WW1, or the Great War. During that time, "this was one of the small minority of ideas to end the war." The Treaty of Versailles was to end any small colonies made by the German Government associated with the war.

    The Battle of Argonne lasted only 2 months or 47 days. Within that amount of time, there were over 150,000 casualties. The outcome of this battle goes to the Allied Forces.

    This agreement, during late 1918, ended the war for the better of their people and soldiers. The Armistice went into effect at exactly the 11th hour of the day, which was the 11th of November to go along with it. This surprising turnout of events ceased fire and made peace for all opposing sides.

    The first meeting was placed 3 months later after the Treaty of Versailles was signed. Not only that but was "six days after the Treaty of Versailles came into force." With the treaty put into place, it changed the fate of history to what it is today.
