Exactly one year later Hitler violates the Treaty of Versailles again by invading the Rhineland. They did this for Lebenstraum (living space). The Rhineland rightfully belonged to the Germans before WWI. It was a place rich with industrial oppertunities.

Hitler forced the the Prime Minister of Austria Minister Kurt von Schuschnigg by threatening to invade Austria. After the invasion of Germnay, %99.7 percent voted to approve Germany absorbing Austria. This was another violation of the Treaty of Versailles becuase Germany it forbid Germany to side with/absorb Austria.

Nazi Germany absorbs a part of Czechoslovakia. Czechoslokia was a new country that was doing great, so they didn't want to join Germany. After a lot of conflicts, the Munich Agreement finally said that Germnay could control the Sudetenland. Two months later, Hitler took over all of Czechoslovakia.

This pact was supposed to ensure that Germany and the Soviets would not declare war on each other for 10 years. It only lasted less than two years.

Right after the non-aggresion pact with the Soviet Union, Germany invaded Poland. They invade Poland becuase they said there was a Polish attack of Gleiwitz, which was a lie becuase the Germans were the ones who rounded up and killed the Polish amry dressed prisoners from Gleiwitz. Poland surrenders.

The Nazi Germany is starting their take over of the world, invading all the weak countries around it. Germany has conquered over half of Europe.

Hitler orders for the invasion of Russia. He breaks the non-aggresion act.

The day before, on December 7th, Japan bombed Pearl Habor, an base in Hawaii. Since Germany and Japan were allies, Germany declared war on the United States three days later.

Nazi Germany finally surrendered after a 6-year long war to the West. The day after, they surrenders to the east (Soviet Union). Hitler commited suicide a week later.
