D-Day was when it stopped the Nazis form winning the war. The solders were all going to die but this big fog came over and let the the solders go to Britian safely. It was a huge deal for Canadians because we won and survived. -

When Japan bombs Saskatchewan 9,000 balloons filled with bombs were released. The bombs were targeted at the Pacific Northwest of North America. -

The Yalta Conference was when Stalin, Winston,Roosevelt had a talk thogther and asked what would happen if the was a postwar. The Nazis were closed to being defeated. -
VE Day
VE Day stands for Victory Europe. It was such a big day because that was when Germany surrendered and it ended the World War Two. It was a huge victory for Canda because we won the war. -
VJ Day
This date was sgnificant becasue it was when Japan surrendered. It was such a big deal and everyone had a celebrated and Canada were so happy that we had defeated them.
