    The Treaty of Versailles was signed and the first world war was officially over.

    Period of economical downfall which was for 10 years.

  • Germany Begins Expanding in 1933

    Hitler says he wants to expand and does not let anyone get in the way for a while.

  • Japan starts to expand

    Japan becomes greedy and wants land too, so they start to expand and invade.Which they originally start in 1937 with their attack on China.

  • The Munich Agreement was signed.

    Many countries sign off Czechoslovakia without their consent to be in the hands of Germany. Trying to appease Germany.

  • The Non-Aggression Pact was Signed with USSR

    This was Germany and USSR's peaceful agreement, which would later become broken.

    Invasion of Poland by Germany

    Poland is invaded by Germany and this is the last string that really starts the war.

  • Allies Declare War on the Axis Powers

    After the attack on Poland the Allies declare war on Germany, Italy, and Japan.

  • Nuremberg Laws & The Kristallnacht

    Nazis coordinated attack on the Jewish people and the laws that limit Jews' natural rights.

    Germany is really trying to take over and they invade France.

    The battle of Britain was fought in the country of Britain.

    The battle of the Phillipines took place in the Phillipines, and the U.S. took it back.

    The non-aggression pact is broken by Germany after they try to invade and take over the USSR.

  • Attack on Pearl Harbor

    Japan attacks the military base in Hawaii.

    After the attack on Pearl Harbor FDR knows he has to do something.

    This battle actually took place in the Coral Sea.

    This battle was fought in the Pacific Ocean.

    This battle was fought in Russia in the city of Stalingrad, Russia.

  • Germany Surrenders

    Germany finally stops and they surrender. Following the surrender Hitler commits suicide.

  • Potsdam Declaration

    The U.S. gives Japan a warning, so they have the choice to surrender or fight. They chose to fight.

  • Hiroshima Atomic Bomb

    Killed 70,000 people, but this was not the last one.

  • Nagasaki is attacked with an atomic bomb

    This is the turning point showing Japan that they need to surrender. It killed 65,000 people.

  • Japan Surrenders

    Japan gets the memo after the two atomic bombs and they surrender.
