There was an 88-minute long speech made by Hitler to the Reichstag.It was exactly 4 days after the attack on Pearl Harbor, the speech had shown that Hitler had decided to join with Japan in the war against the U.S.This officially introduced the U.S to the war.

From August 6th-9th the U.S had decided to use an atomic bomb on two cities of Japan in hopes of ending the war.The dropping of the bombs on both Hiroshima and Nagasaki had forced Japan to surrender the war.This also ended World War II.
