Battle of Hong Kong
After one day that Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. Japan attacked Hong Kong next day. at that time just only the inexperienced Canadian soldiers protect Hong Kong for British. At last Canadian soldiers lose after 17 days because Japan had more powerful weapons. 290 Canadians died, 500 wounded. 267 Canadians died in Japanese prison camps.

Air War of Canadian and British
British sent 1000 bombers to attacked Cologne, Germany. Later on 60% of Hamburg,German was destroyed. In 1939, RCAF is small, but it became the 4th largest. In 1945, they bombed the cities of German, and wants to destroy their factories of the supplies, but it is not very successful, it is because it didn't destroy so many factories, and a lot of pilots die.

Canadian soldiers first take the island of Sicily, Italy. 60 soldiers died or injure, but captured 650 soldiers.after one month, all objects reached.
Ortona was key city on the way to capturing Rome. Canada lost about 2500 soldiers but used“mouse-holing” technique to capture the city, and win the best German soldiers.

Liberation in Europe
